In June of 2018, Roblox implemented a new update that made the platform subscription-based and added support for in-game items. This change has caused some controversy with players who purchased their passes before this update was put into place; they were promised lifetime pass ownership but cannot access any content without purchasing another Gamepass or using an old account.

If someone buys your gamepass on Roblox, you will receive the amount of robux equal to the number of Robux that was spent.
